We are Mario and Daniela,
the owners of Casa Gioiosa.
We are a couple who love travelling and the outdoors, we have always loved camping, we traveled in tents, in caravans and finally in camper.
In 2011, during a trip to Sicily, we fell in love with this place: there was an old house where no one lived anymore and a hectare of land, once cultivated but now almost turned back into a forest.
We bought and renovated it, divided into three independent lodgings, cleaned up the land by planting olive trees, vines and fruit trees, deciding to spend most of our time here after retirement.
We decided to rent to people like us who love nature, the outdoors and, why not, have the sea close at hand for swimming, snorkeling or canoeing.
We became friends with Filippo and his wife Adriana, who now help us in welcoming guests, and so our staff started.
